Milestones Children's Therapy covers Poole, Bournemouth and neighbouring areas.


With specialist knowledge in both paediatric physiotherapy and occupational therapy, we are confident that Hannah and Alannah will be able to help support your child in their chosen goals.


At Milestones Children's Therapy we ensure that the child is at the centre of therapy, aiming to ensure the sessions are effctive, whilst remaining stimulating and fun.

Hannah Miles

Hannah Miles

Physiotherapist

Hannah qualified as a physiotherapist from Bournemouth University in 2014. Since then, Hannah has spent her time working in Dorset completing her rotations in various areas of physiotherapy, before specialising in paediatrics in 2016.


Hannah has since extended her skill set by completing further courses including the Bobath introduction to early assessment and intervention in babies, a post graduate diploma in advanced clinical practice and extensive manual handling training. Hannah is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as well as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). 

Experienced in a wide range of paediatric conditions, Hannah’s area of interest lies within long-term disabilities, including:

  • Neuromuscular conditions
  • Neurological conditions
  • Neurodevelopmental conditions


Hannah strongly believes that the child should be at the centre of any treatment, therefore she ensures all sessions are fun, exciting, and tailored to your child’s interests. 


With physiotherapy sessions offered at your choice of location, such as home, school or even the park; we are sure Hannah will be able to build a strong rapport with your child helping them to gain the most from their sessions.


Hannah continues to work within a local NHS children’s therapy team, therefore has close links with NHS practitioners and understands the importance of working collaboratively towards your child’s goals alongside their NHS therapist.

Alannah Pasokhy-Holmes

Alannah Pasokhy-Holmes  

Occupational Therapist

Alannah is a qualified Occupational Therapist finishing her training at Bournemouth University in 2014, Alannah also has a background in pyschology completing her BSC psychology degree in 2011. Alannah is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). 


Alannah has a specialist interest in neurodevelopmental conditions and currently also works within local NHS children’s therapy services; enabling comprehensive understanding of current service provisions, complex varied caseload of children with a range of diagnosis aged between 0-19 and regular work alongside the multi-disciplinary team in assessment clinics and interventions. Alannah has experience of supporting with school based environmental assessments, school equipment and recommendations, reviewing development, motor skills and it’s impact on daily activities such as play, dressing and handwriting. 


Alannah has completed further post registration training including Bobath 8 week Foundation Course, Bobath Early assessment and Intervention with babies course, Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) and the Alert Programme. Alannah has experience of delivering Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) and working with families to follow-up with bi-manual therapy. 


Alannah is passionate about education and training in order to empower others to develop their knowledge and skills to support children, Alannah has been involved in delivering in-service training to staff, presenting at conference, training for School staff and sensory parenting training. Alannah has also enjoyed supporting therapy students and junior staff members to develop their knowledge and skills in the specialist area of Paediatrics.
